After being introduced to MicroJigs clamps, I was in love. But more often than not I wasn’t using them in the dovetail track as intended. I was using them to clamp anything and everything. In many applications I didn’t want to damage the wood being clamped and would tape on improvised pads, as we all have done.

This was effective but often annoying in practice. I thought there had to be a better way and designed and 3D printed custom non-marring TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) pads. In addition to protecting the surface of your workpiece, they also provide a slip resistant grip. This is especially useful when clamping off angle pieces. Many common woodworking adhesives will not adhere to TPU, making dried glue cleanup a breeze.

One set includes one upper pad and one round pad.
